Memory Stick

This is hardly a mod, I just changed the casing on a memory stick. The original casing were proken, and since I had a receiver for a wireless Logitech mouse, I decided to combine the two.

The receiver before I disassembled it.

The receiver after I rocked the USB connector up and down. Slowly the joint between the upper and lower part came apart.

The receiver and the memory stick compared. Luckily the memory stick is smaller than the wireless receiver.

The memory stick fits allmost perfectly in the receiver casing. To fasten the PCB I use epoxy.

The epoxy is visualized with the green marking. Small drops of epoxy along the edges of the casing are used to join the casing.

The new casing are perfectly assembled. There are no scratches ore other things that shows the changes.

That was it. Nothing fancy, but the memory stick can be used again.
